A house of conundrums defined: think short-term rental (Airbnb, Vrbo, HomeAway, etc.) meets a private escape room.
The Game Discovered
Guests stay in a private efficiency residence designed to be an entire evening of gameplay for two. The game consists of searching and exploring the house for clues, objects, and riddles. Solving these leads players to more clues, objects, and riddles that help open locked boxes, drawers, and cabinets, ultimately solving the game.
The game itself averages about 4 hours to solve, but in this unique experience, since it is an overnight stay, you are free to take breaks, stop for dinner, and generally set your own pace and timeline. You are in control!
The Story Unfolds
As a couple, you will step back in time and assist the great story collectors; Jacob & Wilhelm Grimm.
You have arrived upon an ancient cabin in the woods, riddled with mystique and witchcraft. A newspaper clipping updates you on the disappearance of The Grimm Brothers, and you discover a message left by a powerful nemesis. A spell has been cast and the fate of every fairytale hangs in the balance! It seems she has left a web of conundrums throughout the house in her destructive wake. You can’t help but feel a rush of excitement, having realized that YOU can be the savior of stories…

The Cottage Uncovered
Up to 2 guests* can stay overnight (or multiple nights) in our themed home located in a quiet neighborhood on the north side of San Antonio. The residence includes:
- Grimm’s Bedroom (king-sized bed)
- Full bathroom
- Full kitchen
- Wifi & Television (If you finish the game too fast)
- Couple’s Board Games
- An outdoor patio with a small yard
- Fire Pit & Grill
* The house is designed for only 2 overnight guests. Additional attendees to play the game can be accommodated but must be booked in advance and will require a fee for each additional player.
